Originally from the Kansas City area, Darrius began his journey at Rockhurst High School. He later went on to play Division I football at Missouri State University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in Exercise and Movement Science. His passion for Physical Therapy stemmed from a young age but what solidified this being the career field he wanted to pursue dates back to an injury he had on the football field during his time in college. Being able to be a patient gave Darrius the ability to experience Physical Therapy in a whole new light. This injury better allows Darrius to empathize with his patients.

After his time at Missouri State, he then went on to complete his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Darrius is currently finishing his master's in Health Services Administration at the University of Kansas Medical Center. When he is not in the clinic, he loves to stay active in the gym, play recreational sports, and enjoys exploring new culinary spots. Darrius is looking forward to walking alongside each individual patient as they reach their goals.
