Doctor of Chiropractic Preceptorship

Persons interested in completing their Preceptorship at one of our F.I.T. Muscle & Joint Clinic locations must meet the following criteria.

Personal Attributes

Strong interpersonal skills, good written and oral communication skills, proven analytical and problem-solving skills, strong sense of compassion, ability to demonstrate patience, highly self-motivated and directed, ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment, experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have shown initiative to continue their learning outside of the classroom with post-graduate training and attendance of seminars in the chiropractic, manual therapy, and rehabilitative fields. Specifically, certifications or exposure to Active Release Techniques, Graston/FAKTR/IASTM, Dry needling, Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS), The McKenzie Method, and the Motion Palpation Institute are highly recommended but not required.

Education

Degree seeking student of an accredited Doctor of Chiropractic degree program in their final semester.
