About
Matt grew up in Great Bend, Kansas. Throughout his years playing sports, Matt endured multiple injuries which often left him recovering in a physical therapy clinic. From his experience with his own injuries and recovery process, Matt developed a passion for health and helping others with their health journey.
Matt lives in Overland Park with his wife, Kaitlyn, and their beloved Labradoodle, Hallie Mae. Matt can usually be found around Kansas City cheering on the Chiefs, Royals and his Kansas State Wildcats. Although his teams frequently break his heart, he stays persistent and hopeful, and has learned to use sampling all the great KC BBQ around town as his go-to coping mechanism. Matt loves exploring with his wife and Hallie Mae, whether it is going to a local dog park, having backyard barbecues with friends (Matt is a true grill master), or going to K-State football games with the family. He truly believes there is a positive correlation between the number of dogs present and the overall happiness of life.
Matt has a passion for sports medicine and loves bridging the gap between rehab and performance from high-level athletes to the weekend warrior. He chose physical therapy because he enjoys helping people through the entire process from start to finish, and realizes that all people face unique challenges and therefore, need unique solutions. As your physical therapist, Matt promises to work hard to ensure that your body and mind are strong enough to conquer all of life’s demands.
