About
I was born and raised in Dodge City, KS, and yes, I “Got the Heck Outta Dodge”. Sports have always been a huge part of my life. I began playing soccer in fifth grade and have been in love with the game ever since. Unfortunately, during my junior year of high school, I suffered a dislocated patella as well as two more recurrent dislocations while playing soccer in college. As frustrating as this was, my physical therapists were always there ready to help me work and push me to my limits. During that time, I had been working as a CNA for years thinking I was going to pursue nursing. However, undergoing rehabilitation myself sparked my interest in this profession. I attended Wichita State University and received my Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
Having been a rehabilitation patient myself, I am able to relate to my patients and their struggles of recovery, therefore creating a stronger bond with them. My experiences in sports and healthcare have made me truly happy with the career path I chose. Helping others reclaim their lives and live free of injury is something I absolutely love to practice. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, working out, attending sporting events and exploring new places with my fiancé, Rene.
